Yunnan Golden Needle, or "Dian Hong Jin Zhen", is a robust and striking black tea made from pure spring buds, hand-harvested in the Feng Qing area of Lincang, Yunnan. Carefully withered and briefly fermented, this premium tea showcases the best of Yunnan craftsmanship. The prominent golden buds brew into a clear golden-yellow brew with a rich, full-bodied flavour and a smooth, malty-sweet finish. Notes of dark chocolate and warm malt dominate both the aroma and the cup, making it an ideal morning tea for those who enjoy depth and strength without bitterness.
Visually stunning and deeply satisfying, Yunnan Golden Needle is a standout in both taste and appearance.
This tea shares a striking resemblance with Fujian province's Silver Needle white tea, but in a bold and luxurious black variety.
