“It looks fit for a beggar, but it's priced for an emperor and has the heart of the Buddha”.

This Da Hong Pao is a full-bodied traditional Wuyi Rock tea (武夷岩茶 , the trade name Bohea in English), known for its long history and royal reputation. It's a heavily oxidised dark oolong which gives a delightfully rich infusion and a wonderful enduring flavour that is darker and deeper than our Tie Guan Yin oolongs.

The aroma lingers even after the seventh or eighth brew, representing excellent value for money. Da Hong Pao’s health benefits rank high among teas, full of antioxidants, vitamin C and amino acids all working to improve your health every day with every cup you take.

Just a few harvests are handcrafted each year and it is necessary to be added to your Oolong collection!

A delicious, delicate and very drinkable oolong tea.
Perfect for any time of day or night.
So much so that I drink a pot as soon as get home from work and have bought another 50g pouch to demolish.
Highly recommend

If you are a fan of a bread

This tea is my ultimate favorite. If you like dark bread this is what you will have in your cup. Quality is very high. They also put a small bonus tea with every order. Support small businesses, do not go for supermarket tea

Delicious and refreshing!

A delicious and refreshing tea with a really nice feel good factor. Making time to sit down quietly with a pot of this tea is a most enjoyable treat.
