This exquisite Yunnan Gift Tea is a refined and elegant black tea, crafted from carefully selected, tippy leaves to produce a smooth, generous cup with natural sweetness and depth. The liquor is rich yet refined, opening with soft honeyed notes before developing deeper malt, cocoa, and gentle spice as it cools. Balanced, warming, and luxurious, this is a Yunnan that rewards slow appreciation. Also known as Dian Hong Gift Tea.
Why it’s called Gift Tea
Traditionally, teas of this calibre are reserved for gifting on special occasions and for serving to honoured guests. “Gift Tea” denotes both quality and intent: a tea chosen not for everyday drinking, but to show respect, hospitality, and good taste. It is commonly enjoyed during celebrations, family gatherings, or moments of quiet reflection, where its smooth character and lingering finish encourage conversation and mindful drinking.
