Chun Mee - literally "precious eyebrows tea", the small hand-rolled leaves shaped in the form that resembles eyebrows, also known as Zhen Mei (珍眉) or Chun Mei. This popular Chinese green tea gives a bright green clear infusion and a refreshingly provocative plum-like aftertaste. A brisk green tea from Yellow Mountain, Anhui province of China, well-balanced between sweet and astringent, packed with antioxidants, truly precious as its name stands for.

Brilliant Mao Feng.

Mao Feng and Dragon Well are my favourite Chinese green teas.
The China Teapot Mao Feng is of very good quality.
Pure pleasure to drink it on a hot day.
I am hopelessly western style tea lover, so I use double walled glasses and a good size tea strainer.
8g, 3 min 1st cup and 4 min 2nd cup.
Where I deviated from The China Teapot's suggestion is water temperature. I always steep Chinese green tea at 75°C.

As a bonus, it is the spotless The China Teapot's service. Very well packed and sent on time. From now on it is my favourite Chinese tea online retailer.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing our Huangshan Maofeng (Pre-Rain) tea. We are thrilled to hear that we have become your favourite supplier of Chinese green teas.

Perfect cup of tea

I loved this green tea. Tastes so much better than the green tea you buy from shops. With every sip you know you're drinking something really pure and healthy.
