Monkey Triad Bundle is a splendid triad of premium teas, renowned for their smooth and lasting taste, specially picked from the highest mountain plantations where the most tender buds originate.

Legend tells that local farmers used trained monkeys to climb the peaks to harvest the finest of the leaves to trade on the Silk Road.

Nowadays, these cultivars are harvested in small batches using traditional, hand-picked processes from the beautiful Fujian region.

A beautiful tea, rich and full of refreshing flavour…I know that sounds a bit like a seventies TV advert but this tea, no milk, no sugar is superb.

Another lovely tea

This is probably my favourite scented tea now.
I always put a little milk in all my teas, and this is no exception: I find it needs it, and it's best not too strong. Then it becomes a lovely mellow scented tea.
It has real osmanthus flowers in it, and I believe they are actually quite good for you.

Refined and sophisticated

Lovely depth of flavour and mouth feel. Not too astringent. I like it with a splash of milk, but not necessary. Almost floral maybe. Love it and will buy again.

Love this tea

This is one of my favourite teas. It is hard to describe as it is very complex in flavour: sometimes I taste something like roast nuts, and sometimes even strong coffee! If someone gave me a cup I would not identify it as being like Lapsang Souchong at all. It does have a slight smokiness which is not overpowering. It is quite strong so it's best not to use too much at a time, as it can then verge on being bitter or "rasping".
I have dropped a star because I find it varies in flavour a lot even in the same batch but I still reccommend it.
