This aromatic green Bi Luo Chun, also named Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun (洞庭碧螺春）green tea as it's grown in Dong Ting mountain (洞庭山) in Jiangsu Province (江苏省）of China. It’s one of the 10 most famous Chinese teas and a supreme classic in the green tea collection. This brisk tea was reputed in 1982 with the title of “one tender three freshes（一嫩三鲜）”, perfectly describes that these fine tender buds impart an uplifting aroma, a refreshing flavour and a bright infusion, simply fresh and cheering.

This Bi Luo Chun green tea is packed with natural antioxidants and vitamins yet low in caffeine (unfermented), making it one of the most suitable brews for drinkers of all ages to enjoy anytime anywhere.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Re-seal packaging between use.

How to Brew

Use 1 teaspoon of leaves (roughly 3g) for each person you are brewing tea for.
Cool your water slightly, around 80-85 degrees is perfect
Steep for 2-3 minutes according to taste.
Reuse the leaves a further 3 times, by simply adding more hot water.

An excellent high quality tea. The Baihao YinZhen is crisp and refreshing. We found it great over several infusions. It also came in beautiful packaging and was delivered promptly.

4 stars because I didn't like some of the teas, but that's what I paid for, to find out what I liked.

Green tea is lovely, it tastes like seaweed broth. If you didn't like it, you'd call it fishy. I tried black tea first, and was a bit disappointed - it tasted like a fancy version of yorkshire tea in a slightly boring way. White tea is subtle but sweet and nice, but you don't get many steeps out of it before it just tastes like water. Oolong is a bit of an aquired taste but I've tried it a couple times now and I think I like it more and more - it's a mixture of green and white, but a bit fermented? There were two packages of black teas, with the difference is that one was smoked and one wasn't. Maybe it could have been a different tea, like a pu-er, which is the tea I'm going to buy and try next. Happy with the purchase
