This distinctive and aromatic Chinese oolong tea is Phoenix Dan Cong (凤凰单丛), a celebrated single-bush oolong from the Fenghuang Mountain region of Guangdong province (广东省). Renowned for its naturally expressive aromas, Dan Cong teas are traditionally produced from individual tea bushes, each prized for its unique fragrance and flavour profile.

Carefully handpicked and skillfully oxidised, Phoenix Dan Cong is lightly to medium roasted to enhance its complexity while preserving its floral character. When infused, the twisted leaves unfurl to produce a clear golden liquor with layered aromas and a smooth, rounded body. Expect natural notes of blossom, ripe fruit, and honey, supported by a gentle mineral depth and a long, elegant finish. Complex yet approachable, this tea rewards careful brewing and repeated infusions.
